A Fantastic Halloween

WHAT ARE YOU BEING
 FOR HALLOWEEN??

A few months ago, Dono & I decided if we were going to dress up for Halloween. We we're going to be The Fantastic Mr. Fox family. I found super fun costume ideas/inspiration, but we decided since it's our last year in Missoula, we want to pass out candy from our fall decorated house in the University District, drink hot cider, eat candy & carve more pumpkins! I'm obsessed with the fox costume idea & would love to do it..... one year. If you need a last minute costume idea, you should totally try it! Target has really cute fox hats!

MARY + STEFAN Colorful Halloween Wedding

Wedding Wednesday

For this weeks wedding post since it's our Halloween countdown, we're sharing a Halloween wedding that stole my heart!

I absolutely adore this wedding, especially the brides beautiful dress and Christian Louboutin shoes, the super fun bridesmaids dresses, the grooms striped bowtie, the fact that it was on Halloween, the outstanding floral design and tablescapes & last but not least the fun that the photographer captured in the photographs!

Haunted New Orleans

T R A V E L     T U E S D A Y

Since Halloween is only 6 days away,
I wanted to do our travel post on a very spooky place,
New Orleans

Where's the most haunted/creepy place you've ever been?

 Lalaurie House

For more than 150 years the LaLaurie House has
been considered to be the most haunted and
the most frightening location in the French Quarter.

St. Louis Cemetery

In the shadows of the popular French Quarter lies one of the
most haunted places, as well as one of the oldest places in the city.
Many individuals believe the graveyard is haunted by the ghosts of
Marie Laveau, a Voodoo priestess, and her daughter.

Feel free to spend the night at the B&B
and discover why it has been called one of
"America's Most Haunted Homes".

Ghost tours are available all over the city:

Don't these photos give you the chills just looking at them?

Guest Post Sunday

D.I.Y  BY  BELOVED THINGS

I would like to introduce you to Monica, the lovely little lady behind...

&

Hi lovely people!

I am really happy about writing for threadesque (:

Well, last week I came up with a little DIY for you!

I know all of you have seen one of those boring wooden clipboards,
so, today's DIY is about making them a little less boring...

You will need:

-Wooden clipboard

-Acrylic paints

-Pencil

1. Start making your design with a pencil.
It doesn't has to be perfect,
you can change it later.

2. Start giving some layers of color.
First light colors and then the dark ones.

3. Give the last details and let it dry for at least 4 hours!

Done!*

I hope you like it!
xoxo. Monica
